Buteline – Modular Exhibition reconfigurable layouts and bespoke storage solutions
The background
Buteline had been exhibiting several times a year for a few years when they re-branded and decided it was perfect time to invest in a modular system for maximum flexibility and to increase the potential of brand awareness at their next event.
The challenge for their exhibition at The Installer Show at Ricoh Arena was to ensure the stand fitted the 4x2m space, but crucially it could be reconfigured to different sizes and layouts for their future events, whilst having enough “storage space” for literature and demo kits and to be transportable in a car, as their vans may not be available for the event.
We chose to use Advance Digital Graphics for building and supplying our new exhibition stand. They were extremely helpful, came up with plenty of ideas and completely took the stress out of it for us. We had a tight deadline to work with which wasn’t a problem for them at all. Our new stand is modern, attractive and has everything that we were originally looking for. We would recommend anyone who needs a new exhibition stand, to speak to Advance Digital Graphics!
The solution
The solution was to upgrade their current fixed sized stand system to a modular exhibition stand system. This solution ensured that the entire system could be reconfigured into various layouts at Buteline’s multiple events taking it from a 4×2, to a 3×2 or even a 6 meter back wall of seamless graphics, which could also be open on one, two or three sides!
The system also helped solve the storage challenge. A staggered back wall created the illusion of a solid back wall and provided a hidden space at the rear of the stand, hiding surplus literature, coats, bags and the larger demo items.
In addition to this, further storage came from modified off-the-shelf pop-up counters. Bespoke hidden lockable drawers and shelving were built into the counters providing easy access to the pipework for demos and secure storage in transit.
In terms of transportability, we ensured that the system was fully collapsible, including the counters, so that everything could fit into a large car.
