Refreshing New Ideas for PCIM 2025

Tony and his UK Daleba team were heading back to PCIM in Nuremberg to support their distribution partner, TCL Elektronika. Exhibiting for the past two years with the same stand has allowed TCL Elektronika to become a recognised supplier. During our post-show review, it was decided that for 2025 it would be the right time to explore design updates to refresh the stand.
The team were very happy with their 35sqm stand location within the venue which helped to keep the layout similar, and waste was minimised as we could repurpose existing acrylic showcases, so we got together and discussed the focus for 2025, it turns out that they wanted to wow, so that’s exactly what we arranged.
Firstly, we talked about areas that have worked previously to ensure that we weren’t removing elements that were successful. The showcase pillar in the front corner of the stand proved a particularly heavy traffic area, two large showcases housed various samples and it transpired those visitors felt more comfortable viewing off stand before committing.
This pathed the way for the brand new larger front counter showcase – built using our modular framework and finished with a counter top custom made of toughened 10mm glass. The central showcase proved a huge success as visitors now had another viewing area and TCL were able to discuss the product at a comfortable height.

Heavy Copper is a big deal in Europe and TCL are a trail blazer for this product so we needed to ensure this message was conveyed well. This opened the door to some very exciting work and this year TCL decided to invest in professional macro photography to be used as part of their stand design.
We introduced Tony to Box River Studios, our preferred photography company. The detail they captured allowed us to turn one of these photographs into a giant 3M x 3M fabric light box to display. The green & gold elements of the Heavy Copper PCB captivated visitors from afar.
This was complimented with a central illuminated pillar, dedicated to Heavy Copper and its benefits. In doing this we kept all the focus on the image but allowed for potential clients to understand the product. A Heavy Copper presentation also played on the 65” TV to again capture the passer by.

To give further space for the message, we raised the TCL logo above the stand height, a clear acrylic oval allowed for the logo to float above the display underneath.
Storage at larger shows is essential for bags, literature, fridges and coffee machines so we kept the 1M x 3M concealed storage space designed for 2023/24 and clad with new striking imagery.
To finish the design stand we suggested a custom printed floor vinyl. This would depict a world map, created using a circuit board design, displaying the multiple office locations.

2025’s stand remained a recognisable yet elevated version of its predecessor and post-show leads solidified the efforts.
Roll on 2026!
“We really value working with you….the PCIM design work you did was excellent. The stand was very well received”
